OlymPak™ Printing and Packaging’s Solar Field Goes Live
OlymPak Sustainable Printing & Packaging, a MinMor Industries, LLC company, is proud to announce that our new solar field is officially live, helping power our Mora, Minnesota manufacturing facility with clean, renewable energy. The 1.32 MW DC solar energy system features more than 2,280 bifacial solar panels with advanced single-axis tracking technology designed to maximize solar energy production year-round.
Unlike traditional solar projects that simply feed energy back to the grid, OlymPak’s solar-powered manufacturing system feeds directly into our production facility, helping power more than 100% of our daytime manufacturing operations. The system is expected to generate approximately 3.75 million kilowatt-hours annually, with excess renewable energy supporting the local Mora power grid.
This investment reinforces OlymPak’s commitment to sustainable packaging manufacturing, eco-friendly packaging solutions, renewable energy, and responsible American manufacturing. By combining solar-powered production with responsibly sourced paperboard, in-house recycling programs, SQF-certified operations, and advanced folding carton printing capabilities, OlymPak continues to deliver innovative, high-quality custom packaging solutions for food packaging, retail packaging, QSR packaging, and consumer packaged goods brands nationwide.

OlymPak™ Sustainable Printing and Packaging Hosts Independent Carton Group Tour in Minnesota
In August 2025, OlymPak Sustainable Printing & Packaging was proud to host members of the Independent Carton Group (ICG) for a visit to Minneapolis and a tour of our Mora, Minnesota manufacturing facility. The event brought together independently owned folding carton manufacturers from across North America to share ideas, explore industry trends, and discuss innovations shaping the future of sustainable packaging and printing.
A major highlight of the tour was OlymPak’s large-scale solar energy project, designed to help power our manufacturing operations with clean, renewable energy. Visitors had the opportunity to see firsthand how solar power supports our long-term commitment to sustainability, responsible manufacturing, and American manufacturing innovation. The project reflects how sustainable packaging companies can combine advanced production capabilities with environmental responsibility to create smarter, more efficient packaging solutions for customers and future generations.
Guests also toured OlymPak’s advanced printing and packaging operations, including our folding carton manufacturing capabilities, quality control processes, and continued investments in technology and innovation. The visit showcased OlymPak’s dedication to high-quality custom packaging, operational excellence, and sustainable business practices.
The Independent Carton Group (ICG) is a cooperative association of independently owned folding carton manufacturers across North America.
